"RETRIEVER 2022"

- Can you tell about your impressions from the show? What did you like or not?
Your show is great organized with lots of prices and gifts for participants and winners.
Scheduled was excellent, everything was on time.
Your staff was very professional, very quick in their job, everyone knows what is their part of the job, what is very important when we have so many dogs in limited time to describe and value.
The participants were very professional full of understanding and patience, because we had big classes with a lot of dogs
I personally feel very welcome and relaxed from the first moment to the last one, almost like I am at home.

- What's your opinion about the golden retrievers at the show?
The first day of the show I was judged Golden Retriever male, I can say that their proportionality, preparation for the show was at a very high level. All dogs were in good condition, full of mussel, most of them with beautiful heads, excellent toplines, correct angulation in back with good quality of coat and fantastically handled. I also need to say that movement from the back, position of the tail in movement, lack of forechest and in some casees front angulation is something you all need to work in on and to try to not lose those very nice staff that you already have.

- What's your opinion about the labradors?
Second day I had in my ring Labrador females and Toller. I can say that Labradors females, most of them, was also very proportional, full of mussel, with great ribcage, nice bones and very correct movement from the side. I would generally prefer in Labradors more forechest, better movement from the back, more sweeter expression with wider heads, some girl had roundly eyes, and tails a bit  more up in movement.

- What's your opinion about the tollers?
Tollers was inconsistent quality, many very small, some very large, at some double coat was destroyed, so there was not undercoat, what I was supprisingly like on them is that the most of them had fantastic ribcage with excellent forechest and nice movement from the side, what I also don't like was again to narrow gait from the back.

- Can you tell your impressions from the grooming and handling at the show? May be you have some advices to our handlers and groomers?
Handling was at a very high level, handlers are very skilled in their job of covering up the flaws of the dogs they show, from the other side dogs was excellently prepared and trained for the show and that’s obviously on the first. I highly respect hard working in behind.
About grooming I would not say anything about goldens because they work it very good from my point of view, about Labradors I can say that some of them was overgroomed, what is not good at all, especially on neck and behind, they try to improve their back angles and forechest, and when you touch it there is just a coat, also in some cases we cant evaluet quality of the coat because its cuted. In tollers as I allredy said there is no need to take them under coat out like in some cases because that’s their specific breeding definition.

- What was the most quality breed at the show to your mind?
We agreed that the best quality breed on the show was definitely Flat coat retriever and than Goldens and Labradors. The fact that should put all on thinking was that in all those 3 breeds the veteran classes was with the most consistent and high quality on the end veteran takes the best in the show.

- Would you like to return to our show in some years again?
If you call me in some years again I would return on your show with a pleasure.
